Selamat Hari Raya Puasa!

It's quite weird that when it comes to festive season, some things in the house, or some things in my possession must spoil. There were years when during CNY the lamps in my house would refuse to work. Sometimes water heater. Sometimes air-conditioner. Things like to take breaks on days when maintenance workers don't work.

I went to the zoo last saturday (Deepavali). Afterall, it is the first time i paid to enter the zoo, so i was kind of excited. It's also interesting to go to the zoo with many Indians. However, after taking a few pictures my the camera died on me. I was so prepared to take lots of pics that day, even brought my tripod along! Of course, I complained lots to JF but she's very kind about it. So i had a chance to play with her camera and we took many pics on that day. If you like, you can visit her blog to look at those pics.

Later on, i found out from JQ that its a problem with the cam's sensor. Heard that i can get a new sensor for free. My other gf also told me that she got her A70's sensor changed for free some months ago. So after Puasa, i would have to travel all the way to redhill/queenstown area to get the sensor fixed. perhaps it's 因祸得福? Anyway, it's only after my sensor broke that i realised i forgot to send in the warranty in the first place. =O)

I'm still keen to get a new cam... possible a 10 megapix so i can play with the video function. Wondering if cams these days allow zooming for the video function. And these days, it seems like there's lots of video/photography competition around... i so wish that one day my photos will be good enough to sell for money. Then i can quit my full time job to take pics, travel, play with stocks, buy flats and collect rent...shiok!
