mmmmmmm...

i feel like cycling, feel like going Ubin again to cycle. I'm so glad that the govt decided to put the Ubin quarry project on hold!

there are a few things that i feel like doing, like going for hair cut, watch movie, going JB to eat and shop, eat mango dessert at Chinatown, find free-lance jobs to earn more money, bbq, eat durian, pick up a skill, ....

sometimes i feel i am not cut out to do my current job. but i guess, no matter how i dislike certain aspects of my job, i can always look forward to the pay slip and tell myself that i can't do without that salary. then, i can brace myself for the next month =D.

..............overall, i'm still pretty happy.


A friend told me that i seem to have an old man's lifestyle... drink coffee read newspaper in the morning, drink beer once in a while at night. when she heard that i'm interested to ride scooter, she thought i'm very 'old-man'. if only i can retire now... haha

don't know why these few days i keep thinking of my two girlfriends from my red cross days in school. we used to go out almost everyday after school and hang out till dinner time. we used to decide on what to do together and we really do them together... it's like, we're all very spontaneous, there was no need to plan a few weeks beforehand. we used to have tacit understanding and common interests. sometimes it was just beyond words. i know one of them is still studying to be veterinarian in Australia but i don't know where the other one is. There was a time, about two, three years ago, when we thought we could find back our good old days, then, we felt kind of weird considering how we long we've been separated from one another, and how different our thinking and lifestyles are. oh well, some things that are lost can never be recovered. Sometimes the best friendships can only live in the memories.
