My first show of the day is <<爱之国仇恨岛>>. i didn't know that Singapore has this movie until today. I wonder why such productions are not given due marketing efforts cos at least i think that particular movie is worth a watch! The story is so intrigueing... such a good storyboard is quite rare in Singapore. Or maybe just Mediacorp hasn't reached that standard. Come on lah, the current Fann Wong show just suck!!! totally illogical and shows no sign of intelligence!

when i was searching online for more info about 爱之国仇恨岛, all i could find was an interview with Aileen Tan published on i-weekly a long time ago. worst still, the website was taken off mediacorp's i-weekly website. there was no archive at all! i bet Jack Neo's production would never end up like that.

besides that, today is a public holiday 'cos labour day fell on a Sunday. How wonderful! but i realised that i have too much work to enjoy the day. I am still trying to figure out how to write a precis cos its impossible to understand the points in the articles... the author is just making circular references all the time! what the hell!

i'm also distracted with the news report on the radio regarding the demise of Singapore's 4th president. he-who-i-call-the-friendly-old-man passed away from cancer. the newspaper also reported that 郑秀文 contracted cancer a few days ago. she's the pretty SK-II girl, my favourite actress for HK movies! i wonder why so many people contract cancer. it's quite scary to think of it. esp when one is of a prime age, cancer would simply take all the hope and future away.

i wish everyone good health. i hope technology would help to alleviate health problems... show the humanity some light at the end of the tunnel.
