Good News!!
I received a letter from my school to extend my scholarship till the end of my final year! yippee!!!

The only problem is i have to "play an active role in co-curricular activities as befitting a scholar." *tsk tsk* I haven't been in any CCA for a long time. I doubt i want to join any just to behave like a scholar. I've already accepted the fact that i'm an unscholarly scholar who is lucky enough to receive a scholarship all these years. Luckier now that i have an extension when i am without a CCA. whahaha

Just few days ago, my mum was asking me how i plan to pay off my study loan.
Sigh... considering an auditor's take home pay is SGD 1,600, and my parents want 50% of that, and my personal effects is about SGD 400, then i can only pay SGD 400 for the loan each month! then, with compounding interest rate, how long will i take to repay the bank before i can start saving for myself?

die! i'm only lucky enough not to pay tax in the first year since i earn below SGD 20,000. But from year 2, after a pay rise of assuming SGD 200, i'll have to start paying income tax!! An additional expense to my loan repayment and parents' allowance!

i'm the bank and the govt's slave.

*sob sob*

i must enjoy my final year before i enslave myself to my creditors.
