I just finished watching Rozen Maiden. It's a story about dolls that can think and talk and move like human. More than that, there are good dolls and bad dolls. The good dolls punish bad dolls who try to do harm to human beings. One of the dolls, Shinku, aims to be Alice which is supposed to be a perfect doll with unsurpassable beauty. ('',) Meanwhile, the dolls helped a boy, Jun, to overcome his fears, find his courage and live on happily ever after. hehe

Anyway, I participated in a 1-day exchange programme yesterday. I was in charge of bringing 2 japanese nurses around Singapore for half the day. Together with my friends and their japanese tourists, we went to many places like Chinatown, Little India and the Esplanade. It's interesting to hear what they have to say about Singapore. Besides the usual clean and green, they were so amazed by our food and Merlion. I recommended several kinds of food and drinks for them e.g. coconut, bundung, white fungus with ginko nuts, durian, oyster eggs, sliced fish with spring onion, kang kong etc. My friends also bought them laksa, satay, bbq stingray, burbur cha cha, jumbu, buah luku, chicken rice, mee goreng .... so many! we ate lots lots good food yesterday. What made me happy was how they keep going "oiishi" & "shiok" when they try the food. At the end of the whole thing, they said that they enjoyed their day with us and hope to see us again. happy happy!

One a side note, one of the japanese girls' name is Sachiko. it instantly reminded me of a character in the anime, Nana. In Nana, Sachiko began as a "non-exisiting" character created by Nana (a girl) who kept imagining that her bf would be stolen by a girl named Sachiko. Subsequently, Nana's bf met a new a co-worker cum schoolmate by the name of Sachiko. He fell in love with Sachiko and left Nana.

The Sachiko i know in person is a middle-aged housewife (she looks young for her age) and she's as pretty as the Sachiko in the anime. =O) I can't help but think of the anime each time i call her name. And everytime she wants me to pose in a picture with her, i just think i'm posing with an anime character... keke
