My eyelids are so heavy.

Woke up at 7.45am, ate breakfast till 8.30am, bluffed my mum that i was studying in my room when i was actually sleeping (had a weird dream of paper dragons and my grandpa). Woke up again at 1030am pretended to be tired from studying, came to the living room and started my administrative routine of the day.

I just filed for graduation. As long as I don't fail any modules, i'll most probably graduate in mid-year. I've taken a 'graduation' pic yesterday for our school year book as well. I don't think i look fantastic in that picture but i'm pretty satisfied with it considering i never really intended to be part of the school year book or anything.

The coming lunar year don't seem to be a great year for the Rats. I read in the chinese papers that Rats don't have good luck with wealth in the first half of the year. This sounds terrible if i wish to strike 4D, yea? There's been a saying that if a person manages to offer the first incense stick in the new year, he/she will be very lucky. I know my uncles have been attempting to be the first for the past few years, i'm just wondering if i can join them this year so that i get more luck striking 4D next year. Actually i don't normally buy 4D, just that i have to start repaying the study loan after graduation, so i dream of striking 4D and pay off my loans as soon as i get my cert!

I've also started giving tution and applied to do a research project in school to get some money before graduation. Of course, i prefer 不劳而获 so i won't have to be as tired as i am now. zzzz

Anyway, i just re-read a case on copyright that i studied two semester ago. It's about 'Marguerite' design that was allegedly copied from the 'Ixia' design belonging to the Designers Guild Ltd. This reminded me of the idol drama, 东方朱丽叶。

东方朱丽叶 is the story of a girl who designed 小雏菊 when she was still a very young girl but the designed was allegedly stolen by a designer who became famous because of the very design. He labeled the design Marguerite and Marguerite became a top brand in the fashion scene. Even though the design was stolen, the girl couldn't expose the designer because no one will believe that a little girl would be capable of designing something as great as 小雏菊. Subsequently, the girl grew up with the intention of exposing him when she become a famous designer herself. In between a lot of unhappiness occured. Eventually, with the help of the president /CEO of the designers guild, she managed to become a famous designer. While she didn't expose the background of Marguerite, the famous industry players knew about the girl's past and recognise her talent in design.

It's interesting how a case law can inpire an idol drama even though the stories are quite different. Suddenly i have this thought that if i read more case law, i'll probably be inspired to write idol drama scripts too. can sell for money that way =p
