Today is the first time i witness the Thaipusam parade. I saw it when i was stuck in a traffic jam on my way to my tuitee's place. i was late for the tuition but i was pretty happy. The Hindis parade is so much more amazing than the chinese ji tong parade i wrote about many entries ago. The Hindis have more needles pricked into their body, they practically carried the entire altar on their body. it's so so amazing! some altars are even taller than the carriers themselves. for a moment, i thought of JQ. it'll be great if he's there to take pics with me!

i was just thinking that if i didn't give tuition, i wouldn't have seen the parade. it's worth giving tuition afterall.

too bad i didn't have a camera with me. my hp is capable of taking pictures but it simply refuses to upload the pictures to my laptop. *shrugs*

then on my way home, i saw a bat. i think it's what duane called a fruit bat. yucks. it's probably the first time i see a bat at my place. there shouldn't be any fruit trees at my place.. hope the bats move house soon.
