Just to fill you in...

For the past few days i've been feeling rather upset over something that happened 3 years ago. I was wondering why i can remember certain things that happened 3 years ago so well when i can't even recall what i ate for lunch 1 week ago. A primary school friend of mine used to say that i am very vengeful! hahaha of course vengeful people remember things pretty well. but i like to see myself as a very sentimental person. =O) sometimes, i'm a little too sentimental for my own good.

anyway, i've officially taken part in a Retail Reality Challenge organized by cold storage / 7-11. I'll be selling First Choice Water, 500ml and First Choice Hot&Spicy potato chips at $0.80 each on the 16th July, Saturday, from 12noon to 1pm. As you see, the price is much cheaper than usual, it's supposed to be a 1 hour promotion that will determine if my team qualifies for the final retail reality challenge. my team will have to slog like mad to emerge top 6 among the 70 odd participating teams, of which, most of the teams are from local polys with strong support from their respective schools. even though SMU doesn't give any form of support for her resourceful students, i think my team won't be placed at a disadvantage! no worries... In any case, i don't really desire to emerge as the top 6. however, if my team does i'll be happy 'cos the organizer planned a training session for the top 6 teams and i think the training session is something worth going for. =O) So my plan for now is just to have fun in the competition!

besides the challenge, i'm also planning to be a part-time waitress. i'll probably arrange for an interview with the company some time on monday. hmm, i don't really know if i can handle work and studies in the coming term. i just hope to get some money so that i can go on the exchange without burdening my parents too much. Then again, i am quite worried about my current grades cos i'm almost slipping from my 2nd class honours position. argh,.. i think if i manage to get the job, i'll probably have to go on lesser sleep for the next term.

Lastly, i've finished watching the anime, Initial D stage 1. I don't plan to watch the Initial D movie cos I heard that Jay Chow's acting is not quite impressive... i guess the anime is still a better choice!

Anybody watched War of the Worlds? Everyone says that the movie is good because it's based on HG Wells and is a Steven Spielberg movie. but how good is good? argh.. I'm not a fan of HG Wells, don't want to spend money on something that i may not like.
