这一把声音。。。

。。。听了能安抚我烦躁不安的心情。

有一些声音听了真的可以疗伤。陶喆就有这一把声音。

Just few days ago, i was complaining to my friends about 陶喆's songs. I thought his album is becoming like a rojak of themes. I thought that his songs are more like gospels and i don't fancy songs with a tinge of "religious" element. I also found myself not being able to relate to his songs especially those from his black tangerine (2002) and the great leap 2005. For a while, i gave up on him and listen to more of nicholas tse's songs.

But just now, i was watching his "Love Can" HK concert video, i realise that i feel more calm after listening to his voice. In the concert video, 陶喆 sang many of his new and old songs and somehow they gel together very well. even songs from ultrasounda and black tangerine didn't sound as irritating as before. i wonder if it's the way he delivered the songs in the video, the songs just sound more sincere, more real, more passionate.

I wasn't mesmerised by his looks since strictly speaking, i was only listening to the video while surfing the net for rubbishy stuffs to pass time.

Well, before watching the video, i thought 陶喆's 太美麗 (2006) is quite rubbishy since i don't believe in "too beautiful". Beautiful is supposed to be something great, but "too" beautiful seems to suggest otherwise. it feels complicated and i don't like things complicated.

now i feel that i can give 太美麗 another chance.

i guess, sometimes some songs just need more time to digest, and needs to match the mood/experience of the listener for the song to 产生共鸣 with the listener.
